Starting next month, the sequester spending cuts take affect, how much of an impact does everyone think this will have on visa approvals if any? I for one am very concerned considering how much things have slowed down at the CSC. Maybe my fiance will be here in say, the year 2015?

They are supposed to be self funded, its pretty slow already and could slow down more.

"Starting next month, the sequester spending cuts take affect"

if it's like it is at my work it would not impact right away, and also they are trying to find a solution to postpone it.

There is a big misconception that there will be no affect on visa approvals but indeed there will be. You are correct that immigration is self funded as far as processing petitions but the employees are not paid by those funds, they are federal employees and if the furlough gets instated the employees in USCIS will be furloughed along with everyone else. Mondays are scheduled to be the furlough day each week for 22 weeks.
