Phone call with USCIS......16 days to file service request

I've been checking wac# around mine with same NOA1 date on uscics website to see if any got updated and oh surprise, one was yesterday.

The first three letters tell which center received the application. Then there is a year and date code, and whether the application is being processed in a paper or an electronic form. The last few digits are the serial number. So, just vary the last few digits. If you find someone that file the same form, then there you go!

I don't think people are trying to be negative to bring you down or attack you personally. They just don't want you to get your hopes up and then later be emotionally crushed like many of us who have been told similar, blatant lies by the USCIS hotline.

I can't count how many times I've been told that I should hear something within two weeks and if not to call back, only to call back in two weeks and be told the same thing again. Or to be transferred to another representative who told me information contradicting the first person. I am a July 26 CSC filer and I haven't been able to put in a service request. A few people here on Visa Journey who were successful in putting in a service request with dates close to mine have received responses a few weeks later telling them that there was a backlog and to wait 4 MONTHS before putting in another request. Service requests don't seem to be doing any good at this point.

Well, they have stayed on July 18 for the month of January (they just updated the time information).

So OP, please update us in 15 days if you are able to file a service request.
