Hi Everyone,

I filed form I-751 of last year March 26,2012 at Vermont Service Center. I got a RFE last year November and responded in December. Since I responded in December, I have not heard from them and my case status is still saying initial review when i check online. My one year extention suppose to expire in May of this year. So, what happens if my case is not approve before May or after May? Can I put in a service request and get another one year extension while the case is still pending? I have a major traveling plan coming up in May so I have been thinking so much. They have put in a e-request but I am just thinking. Please help me with your inputs.

Call for a service request, then make an Infopass to make an I551 stamp on your passport to extend the status for another year.

At the same time if you are qualified to file for citizenship (N-400), do so and that'll force them to make a decision.

Also if you want, get hold of your congressman for sh*ts and giggles.

I had to go that route.
