You interpreted that certain passages were only relevant to the Jews and early Christians, not to people today. So that certainly did change. You quote the Old Testament and claimed this wasn't open to interpretation today, and have done nothing but reinterpret the meaning since. Then you go further and become judge and jury to condemn how others interpret the meaning of the Bible. My statement is entirely to the point of exactly what you've been doing in this thread. Just because your sect doesn't see eye to eye with another sect of Christians, doesn't mean they are wrong any more than you are wrong to want to live with the interpretation created by your sect. But one thing I do feel, is Jesus would not agree with how you judge and condemn others who are just trying to follow his teachings as best they can.

Couple points

- When you read the passages they are clearly meant for this tribe or that this nation or that. So I guess you can pretend there is some "interpretation" involved if you want but some things are pretty clear while other things are more complicated and can be mis interpreted. But the only issues I deal with here are those issues which leave little room for misunderstanding.

-We all judge, and it is perfectly normal, healthy and consistent with Biblical teaching, what isn't permitted is Judging peoples soul. I attacked the false teachers teaching, but I make no judgment on his eternal condition. And while I do condemn the mans false teachings thats as far as I went. Don't you see child abuse, prejudice and deceit and make a judgment over the right and wrong of it? Of course, we would be sunk without it.

-I only take stands on the broadest, most fundamental issues. I am one who fits well with nearly all denominations because we connect on the fundamentals. When the teaching is so contrary to scripture and the 2 millennia of Church history you have to ask yourself .....

Are we to believe these few ministers in 2013 stumbled on something 2000 years of church study did not see? That every major religion did not understand? That nature does not reflect?

And that All of western history found to be a corrupting influence. Suddenly some local TV preacher has a new-truth!!!
