Just to let everyone know! On March 19, 2013 they have mailed the notice that we have been approved!!!!! I haven't even told my Fiance yet (texting him now)....I just checked the online status! There is still hope. :D well that's made my day

[August 2012] Steve visits me again in the Uk for our second meeting for just one weekend! [March 6th 2014] AoS Interview - Passed
[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!
[December 2012] Steve comes to the Uk to spend xmas with my family!

Thanks to my future Father-in-law I don't think we would got this far. He's been in contact with Congressman Wolfs Office nearly everyday and they have been on the case everyday for us and contacting him letting us know the current situation and by the sounds of it I maybe there literally in time for the wedding!

But If not The idea of still having the wedding but not making it 'official' does sound like a good idea, so my fiancee visa will still be valid and then when it finally arrives we could go for a simple Official wedding :) I will have a talk with my Fiance about this.....thank you everyone for that idea....I do really appreciated all of your help :thumbs:

My Fiance and I had the same wedding date, May 25th! We planned everything, and his family even bought tickets! Two weeks ago we decided to postpone the wedding to an unknown date and it's been a heartbreaking experience. I feel for you in having to decide to postpone it but after the initial shock and stress in informing everyone, people are generally more understanding than you think. :) We contacted our congressman and were told that we could expedite based upon financial hardship with the loss of money with planning the wedding but when they said it would need to be a significant amount of money, like 25,000, I decided to call an immigration attorney and get some advice. He told me that he has clients at the CSC and the last client he had had a NOA1 from August 15th. He told me the CSC does not care about my wedding or anyone's wedding and unless one of the couples has a terminal disease or is being deployed to war there is nothing that can be done. He predicted another 6-8 week for me (I'm a October 11th NOA1) and that was about 2 weeks ago.

I guess long story short... it sucks, and I feel your pain :( Hang in there
