Only the beneficiary's certificates are required in the spousal IV package. No petitioner documents are needed in your case in this package.

Good to see what good sleep does to one( clears your brain to think better ). I never looked at it this way before; that the marriage/ divorce certs(if applicable) in the IV package refer to that of the beneficiary. Of course that is who is applying for the visa right. Hmmm will need to update a friend who is still awaiting USCIS approval not to include his certificates at NVC stage for his wife's application.

The only time petitioner's documents are needed in the IV package is if it's for an IR-5 visa (parent).
