I'll try to find out how to make an Infopass to Mt. Laurel, because if I make it on the Web like normally, then it will give me Newark, not Mt. Laurel. Thank you Robinhood!

You can contact both. try to contact your house of rep first, but I suggest you take an infopass appointment again and try to talk to diff IO. ask for supervisor.

Have you call NVC?

Today I received email from NVC. This is what the email said "The NVC recently received this petition. The appropriate agent

(applicant, petitioner, or attorney) will receive instructions for the further processing of this petition with 6 to 8 weeks".

So should i call them for case number.

Congratulations... at least you got the confirmation. Yes, Call NVC but likely it will take few days for you to get that number as NVC just received your petition but no harm in asking.

Not yet. I called yest and was told that they have received the case on 13th, so will try to call in a day or two. What is going on with your case.

same thing and was told it takes 10 to 15 business days to enter in the system. Question i was trying gather the stuff and fill out the other forms for NVC. affidavit of support do we fill out i864 or i864ez. Also any tips you can give to prepare myself

Received my NOA2 yesterday. Called up NVC to check on status and was informed they have received the application on May 13th

My NOA2 was approved on May 2nd. Case staus still shows initial review.

Sorry for the lazy ### note last night, here is the detailed informaiton on how my Newark Transfer eventually led to NOA2.

Just a brief recap of my timeline, married July 2012, applied in Dec 2012 and NOA1 of 19 Dec 2012. We didn't hear anything else until we realized that people are calling in USCIS and gettting inputs on their cases. My wife ccalled sometime in March and was told that file is at Newark and will hear something by April 2. But nothing happened, My Wife then set up an Infopass for May 10 or 11 at Newark and was told that our file was there for 4 months and no one looked at it. Then she asked can this be expedited, they mentioned the file was transferred to Mt Laurel and we need to talk to them. We were super pissed that file wass at Newark for 4 months and no one looked at it.

My wife then setup an Infopass at Mt laurel and those people are rude. the first lady said we're looking into it and will get back tto u soon. My wife emphazied that she wants to get this expedited and wants to talk to someone senior. Another lady came and she actually had our file in her hand. She mentioned what was the reason to look for expedited process and my wife said she is a dr, will be alone, will have no one to take care of her and stuff, but the office mentioned that this is no reason.She was kinda rude and mentioned that there are a lot of other cases that they are working on and we would hear back in 30-90 days.

My wife left in anger and cried on the phone with me, SHe mentioned that she will try to get to contacct her congressman. However based on my VJ experiencce of reading tonnes and tonnes of post, i assured her that we would defintely hear something back in a week. She asked how can u be so sure, but I mentioned that its my gut feelign that a) if they pull your file, they probably put it on the top of the other files and get processed fast or b) if you set an infopass something does really help.

Whatever the case, we got the confirmation that we have been approved. My wife got the text and we have our online status updated to Post-Decision Activity.

Hang on there guys, Mt.Laurel is processing a lot of approvals soon.

Btw, question for people to help me on the NVC Stage, I am an Indian Citizen and a Canadian Permanent Resident, for the Police Clearance Certificate, do I need an Indian Police Clearance too, I have been living in Canada since 2006.

So, I called USCIS this morning and the Lady told me my file was send from NBC to Newark on Feb. 11, 2013.

and from Newark, they sent my file to Mount Laurel on April 22, 2013. How come the Lady at USCIS know exactly the date that my file was send to Newark, and from Newark to Mount Laurel, but the people at Mount Laurel said my file is not there yet? This is confuse me!

I suggest you try to contact your congressman and see if that helps... I believe that is the only way you can get an accurate location of your case.
