I am from NJ, but I don't know if they transfer my case to Newark, NJ or not. I still can not check my case status! :unsure:

I am a USC

USCIS:

Jan. 08, 2013 ....I-130 Sent Out.
Jan. 09, 2013 ....NOA1
July 29, 2013 ....NOA2 ....6 Months and 3 Weeks After NOA1

NVC:

Aug. 07, 2013 ....NVC Received File from USCIS.

Aug. 20, 2013 ....Got Case # and Invoice Id # From NVC by phone

Aug. 21, 2013 ....Got DS-3032 form & I-864 bill by email

Aug. 21, 2013 ....Husband (Petitioner) paid AOS bill $88.00 Online - Wife (Beneficiary) email DS-3032 to NVC assigned Husband as Agent to received Mails from NVC

Aug. 23, 2013 ....AOS bill status: "Paid"

Sep. 04, 2013 ....Wife got email from NVC, DS-3032 Accepted.

Sep. 05, 2013 ....Husband got IV Bill by email from NVC, paid $230.00 online.

Sep. 06, 2013 ....IV bill status: "Paid"

I am from NJ, but I don't know if they transfer my case to Newark, NJ or not. I still can not check my case status! :unsure:

My case status does not say that my case is transferred to Newark, NJ, but after calling USCIS and talking with Tier2 officer, after specifically asking them about transfer, and after physically going to Newark, NJ it is confirmed that my case was transferred to Newark on Jan9. You should call USCIS and talk with T2 officer and ask them if your case is transferred, even if officer says NO, you should call again to make sure he is not bluffing. I believe after SEP 2012 most of the I130 cases are getting transferred to field offices. If you check the USCIS dashboard for volume of the files filled after SEP 2012, you can see that the volume graph is shotted up. Do not depend on the online status or USCIS customer service rep. You need to talk with T2 officer and you should also visit your field office with INFO pass.

Did you get any thing out from these, I mean from calling USCIS, and go to Newark. I heard that even if you keep calling USCIS, they will not speed up your case, so, I don't bother to call. Any way, good luck to you.

Yes i did. I got to know where my case is currently being processed. It is important to keep track on our case because sometimes you do not know what is going on unless you call them. What if you got an RFE and you did not receive hard copy? What if your case is approved but you were not notified. (1 of the case on VJ got approved in JAN and realized in March after calling USCIS). So it won't hurt you if you call them and try to find out.

Yes, but they are speeding up. Comparing numbers for DEC and JAN, the ratio of approval is higher in JAN.
