Share your experience with Info pass, timeline and anything which can help to get more detail about how local offices are processing I130 cases.

My case has been transferred to Newark, NJ from NBC(PD - 11/30/2012) and have not been notified(online status does not say anything about transfer). I recently went with info pass and found out that my case was transferred on Jan 9 but the processing for JAN yet to start. Newark is still working on Nov and Dec cases.

It is very hard not knowing how long it will take and how they are processing these cases. Certainly local offices does not have staff to clear thousands of pending cases and looks like we have a long way to go.

Please share if your case has been transfer to your local field office.

Almost everyone who is not currently residing outside the USA with their spouse has been transferred. You would not have been notified of this transfer, it was rare to do so and most people find out about transfers either by calling the USCIS or because they received an RFE or NOID or NOIR.

Have you seen them? start with August 2012, come forward to March 2013 - most folk have posted about their experiences (already) with being transferred.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
