Does anyone have an idea on the "average time" is take before a petition is received by the NVC from the USCIS in CSC? Also, once the petition gets there, does things move pretty fast?

Basically, I'm setting myself up for calling the NVC and getting our NML Case No...

Typically 3 to 5 business days for NVC to receive an approved petition. Once in NVC's hands things move MUCH faster. A case number can be assigned in under 2 weeks and many times even under 1 week. Our petition was in "Administrative Processing" for just over 2 weeks and it took 3 days to get to Manila once NVC sent it out. Interview appointment availability varies and we had dates available as soon as 2 weeks from the date we looked. If all goes well you can have K1 in hand in 4 to 6 weeks.

We started calling 5 business days after they said it was released to NVC, once NVC gets it they will give you the MNL# and you can schedule your appointment. After you schedule your appointment you can get your medical done. The process for us took 3 weeks after getting the MNL#. Now we are just waiting for Apr 3rd to get here.
