plz ppl i need some help!

my husband, a us citizen, went to us in the end of november 2006.

we have been married for 2.5 yrs but decided to move to US now.

on 30 november we got a notice saying that our documents have reached them

and after 6 months i chked the status online which said

On May 30, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service

now on 27 july i recieved the choice of agent form (one for me and one for my son)

my husband in US recived them as well (the choice of agent forms) a week before us

he fillled them up on my behalf and added the 70$ each fee too and sent it back!

can anyone tell me why did HE recieve those forms too?

was he supposed to fill them on his behalf and me on mine and THEN send them????

He was supposed to pay the AOS or I-864 bill, which you shouldn't have received. He wasn't supposed to fill the DS-3032 for you or for your son. The reason he got the DS-3032 too, I suspect, is that he can help you fill and file them in case your English isn't good enough to do so alone. However, don't fall into despair. It's likely that the NVC will accept your forms even when your husbands filled them out for you, since the NVC has accepted the DS-3032 via fax or e-mail (even when filed from the petitioners e-mail account) and even when someone has used older versions of the DS-3032. Now that the forms are sent I would recommend that you sit and wait for the NVC's reply. They may give you a RFE, but I doubt it. A second option is that you e-mail the NVC your and your son's choice of agent (that being your husband I presume) and also tell them that your husband mistakenly filled your forms for you. When you got to these forums, I also recommend that you take a look at James' Short Cuts in order to save a few months on visa processing times .

It is not a rocket science. This is what I wrote"I filed I-130 for my wife to VSC in Sep 2006 as a LPR(Legal Permamnt Resident). Recived NOA1 on Oct 02, 2006."

But never mind. You do not need to update it. Thanks for youre help!!

kim relax, i think the lpr may have thrown stabu off. when you applied for your spouse you weren't a citizen but a lpr, then you became a citizen during the process and notified the uscis. got it. your noa1 was issued on oct 2, 2006. before adding you to the list, give us a date on when you sent the petition, what day in sept.

kim relax, i think the lpr may have thrown stabu off. when you applied for your spouse you weren't a citizen but a lpr, then you became a citizen during the process and notified the uscis. got it. your noa1 was issued on oct 2, 2006. before adding you to the list, give us a date on when you sent the petition, what day in sept.
