Does anyone know why my adjudication date for the I-130 on VJ moved back yet another two weeks yesterday? I know it moved two weeks when the new dates from uscis came out a few days ago, but now it is a month back in less than 4 days. The uscis had 2 weeks of progress in the past month at csc so I don't know what happened. Should I just expect it to bounce back down once a few visas get processed here on vj?

There are finally starting to process march visas so I don't really know where I stand.

BTW, can someone at me to the list here? I really don't want to mess it up, but all the info is in my timeline. TY and good luck to all...

The "dates" on VJ are projected dates based on other members filling in their timelines, and keeping it updated on a regular basis.

You should use the timeline as a guideline. The date your application will be approved is solely at the discression of USCIS. It could be earlier than the date provided on VJ, or it could be months thereafter.

Should we try to clear up this list, since it may contain up to ten names, who haven't signed on for several months, nor updated their profile, nor do they seem to have any interrest for this list. The problem is that with so many people lagging behind (who really are not) is creating despair and false assumptions about the visa process. This is just an idea, but i would personally find it usefull :innocent: . How about the rest of you? People who have been removed, can always be added back if needed .

What if they are actaully still waiting like many of us, but getting so irritated and depressed that they don't log on, but simply just read the site as a visitor. Someone should try to email them and see where they are. At least try this and if no response in a week, then take them off. IMHO, that would be a more accurate way of doing it. B)

While I do understand your point, I disagree with it. Almost all of the people who will be removed from the list are people who have already gotten a NOA2 but who haven't gotten a visa. The reason for this is that there are two big limbos in this process, where you can be stuck for almost forever. The first is the USCIS limbo (before NOA2) where the papers can lay on the desks for years without being updated or processed, mostly doe to some security checks or equal (these are quite common). The second limbo may happen at the embassies where they can send the case back to NVC for some checks or they can put it on admin review. Both of these processes can last between days and years (these are rarer but they do happen). However, in between NOA2 and your final interview there aren't things to be stuck at. Most large (month lasting) delays between these steps are doe to your own making.

What I thus personally suspect, is that after NOA2 many members know that their visa process is half way thru (this is true for most nationalities, excluding some such as the Cubans who don't have to wait in USCIS or the Mexicans who have to wait up to a year for an interview) and thus they decide to drop out of this forum. I mean, this forum is great, and it's especially good for information and the support of equals, but after a NOA2 you have gathered enough information to proceed alone and the steps get shorter and shorter time vice. For us it took 106 painful days between NOA1 and NOA2 and during those 106 days the only thing that happened were a few touches near the approval date and a change in service center. After our NOA2 it took 15 days to get a case number, 17 days from that to get the AOS fee bill generated and 11 from that to get it accepted. The waiting, before and after NOA2, is just a different game. Before NOA2 it requires a lot of patience after NOA2 it requires some skill.

Going thru all the pending members on this list is very boring and sometimes hard, since many nicknames on the list don't exist anymore, because many members change their forum names during the process. It would be almost impossible to get everyone's e-mails. With just sending forum messages I wouldn't come too far, because many don't have the notification option on for private messages on this forum. And even if they would, I doubt that they would care enouhg to reply to them.

Just to point this out: it's a lot easier to remove someone from this list and add him back (if that's the case) than it is to seek that person and get a reply. The people who want to get back on this list will surely tell - that's what's happened before .
