Well since this thread was specifically about Colorado-

Part of the legislation that is awaiting signature to be enacted into law is poorly worded. The Dem rep that wrote it did a terrible job. The bill practically outlaws every magazine currently for sale in the state because the bill specifies that magazines that can be “readily converted” to hold more than 15 bullets will be outlawed.

Practically every magazine on the market can be easily converted with readily available extenders.

The Dem rep claimed she had no idea when she wrote it, her focus was just on the number of bullets you can put in the magazine, but yet now that she knows-- she still supports the bill as drafted...

“I’m not envisioning changing that because of a little plate that you can pull out,” she said. “I’m hoping that people will just comply with the law.”

So basically people in Colorado will be left with little to no magazines because there are very few that can not be converted- and very few firearms to chose from, because what good is a gun without the mag- or wait for manufacturers to make mags that comply with Colorado standards- or simply go unarmed.

In addition Magpul Industries has threatened to leave Colorado taking with it 600 jobs and 85 million dollars it contributes to the states economy if the law is enacted and its products become outlawed.
