Hi everyone, I am new in the forum, can anyone advice me here, I got married to my U.S wife in 2009,got my 2 yrs GC in June of 2010. She divorced me in Dec 2010 "without my knowledge". She had been tormenting me physically and emotionally and finally went and divorced, hide it from me. I found out in January of 2012. I filed my removal of condition in April 2012, I went for finger printing on the 28th of June 2012. My filling center is Vermont. I have been waiting since then I haven't had anything. I feel like the estimated processing has passed as I look at the date I filled, was in April, went for finger printing on June 28th and today is March 18th 2013. I sent the following document.

3 Affidavit from friends who new us very well.

letter from councilor I went for therapy

joint bank account we had together

copies of money orders

Joint Insurance

Pictures of our wedding

and a copy of her felony report. She started tormenting me when I was going against her when she tried to carry allients to Mexico with her son's passport and she was actually caught at the frontier for doing that.

Can anyone advice why I haven't gotten any ripply until now?

Thanks

Call USCIS to find out the status of your application and hear what they will say. After that talk to a lawyer to advice you on what steps to take. There surely is a way out

Sorry about your situatuion but is that possible? To be divorced without your knowledge? Doesnt the court or some legal representative have to send you papers and have you acknowledge them (i have a friend who is sort of going thru this - she wants to divorce her hubby but hasnt been able to locate him so she hasnt been able to file the papers).

05/16/11 - Interview letter received for 06/20!!!

+1. Sounds dodgy. There are ways folks can get divorced without their knowledge, but generally that involves the other half of the partnership showing the other is somehow unobtainable/un-cooperative or, like, possibly dead. The only way I could imagine that being done quickly is if there were forged signatures. However, divorce procedures to appear to vary quite heavily state to state.
