She is no hero of mine. I simply agree with her stance on the issue. Now.

I do not care about someone's reason for evolving on an issue. Does she secretly hate the gays and not want them to marry? Doesn't matter to me as long as she wouldn't govern based on her personal/religious beliefs.

No Democratic president in our time would govern on their religious beliefs when it came to SSM. Democrats know that one must win primaries in order to get on the general election ballot.

And that, right there, is why the gheys vote D in overwhelming number. It's not just because they love the D.

Thank you for that correction added definitions would have been a bonus.

Abortion is one of those polling questions which leans heavily on how the question is answered.

I can post other stats from more mainstream sources to prove the opposite.

If we consider the changes in law state by state that might add more clarity.

I suspect this very issue may give the Us Supreme Court pause from playing to big of a hand

in their decisions on SSM.

This may shock and amaze you, but I'll share it anyway:

Sometimes, people are actually able to believe two different things at two different times in their lives. They grow up, experience things, realize things might not be the way they think they are, and evolve. That quote is over a decade old. Isn't it beautiful when people realize their original thoughts may be incorrect and learn to embrace things they used to be intolerant of?

I think so.

and sometimes politicians will say whatever they think their audience wants to hear.
