I for one would contact ins/uscis just so will be noted for if he tries to file aos him self

He can't file AOS without her, so that's not the issue. Make sure you get divorced ASAP and contact USCIS so they are aware of the situation. Also, like another member said, don't be alone with him.

Good luck!

Get a divorce attorney.

But are you absolutely positive about the marrying for greencard thing? Only in January you stated in your thread that he wanted to go home. Why would he want to go home if he wanted to stay in the US?

So Call uscis let them know the marriage is fraud (with your complaint) get a fax # and fax said

statement to them along with approval letter, don't be around him ever with no witnesses & don't

drag your feet in taking action, also file for a divorce.

Its 3 sides to every story if you just not into him no more & want to be rid of him, just divorce

the guy and move on, also understand a swift marriage to someone of another culture will have hiccups

some culture the men is not touchy feely, loving, and show emotions except when mad, so think, look

within.

Get over to the local office and withdraw I 864 if submitted and do not be alone with the person ....I see a false VAWA claim :( the get a lawyer and get a divorce and try to move on. I was also used for a green card. I you have PROOF of marriage fraud get a annulment and take it to USCIS, remember immigration law is civil law not criminal, the adjudicators work in shades of grey, the more proof of fraud the darker the shade of grey and more likely your spouse will not get to stay in country.

I don't think you can annul your marriage because he married you for residency only. In your case, filing for divorce may be less complicated.

actually, annulment is possible - but all depends on the state laws about it.

THANKS... Now how do i go about it???

find the county courthouse in your area. go in person, talk with the clerk of the court, ask about the process. If there is a web site for the county court - USUALLY the instructions for filing are there.

no AOS filed yet, so the I-864 is not in play.

I agree with your other points..
