Just got the text message to say we have been approved!!! We filed July 9th. So incredibly happy! Husband and I reached such a low point last night that we both just cried on the phone. So this has come at our weakest moment and given us hope that we may actually be together in time for our baby's arrival.

Keep the faith guys!! I'm not sure if it made any difference at all but husband spoke to Tier 2 rep at Vermont last Wed and explained our situation (me being high risk pregnancy etc) and he said to send copy of our expedition request and cover letter to Vermont by mail. We overnighted it and it got there Friday at 3pm. No idea if it made any difference, but for those waiting it could be worth a shot.

On to the next stage of waiting.......

26 Nov 2007: Married in Michigan
REMAINED ON STUDENT VISA 08-11
9th July 2012: I-130 filed
16th July 2012: NOA1 received(estimate as it never actually showed up in mail!)
18th March 2013: NOA2 (252 days)
25th March: Case received at NVC
4th April 2013: Case Number assigned
9TH April 2013: NVC email received
11th April 2013: Expedite to Embassy approved

17th April 2013: Case recieved by Embassy

18th April 2013: DS-230/2001 sent direct to Embassy

30th April: Embassy 'can't locate' forms

1st May 2013: DS-230/2001 resent recorded delivery

2nd May 2013: Interview date emailed for next day!

3rd May 2013: Approved at Interview

8th May 2013: Visa Arrived

05/16/2013 - AOS bill changes from PAID to NOT PAID! #######?! AOS bill paid again upon NVC rep's advice

05/20/2013 - IV bill generated and paid
