After receiving I-797? What's next?

I received a I-797 that says my I-130 application was received. Its been a month and i haven't heard anything. Is there something i need to do after receiving the i-797 or should i sit back and wait? My wife is currently 4 months pregnant and i want her to give birth here in Hawaii. I miss her a lot but i couldn't do anything.. I don't know what to do now!

Thanks. It says the i still need to wait for 4-6 months before i can receive a NOA2. Is there anything i can do to expedite the process in USCIS? Is it possible to call them and explain my situation? As i've mentioned my wife is 4 months pregnant now. Should i give up thinking she can give birth here?!

You should contact your senator, they can help expedite the process. You will have to sign a privacy waiver and will probably need some sort of proof that your wife is pregnant. Good luck!

I did what you said and the senator's representative told me that they will follow it up to the senator! Thank you for your help guys! I'm hoping senator can help me.
