The IO can ask for anything.

As a result of Item #4 on the appointment letter, we brought every shred of paper/document associated with this immigration process thus far.

The IO that we got asked for divorce decrees, dating photos, passport stamps. Glad that we brought everything.

Good luck.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

"Si vis amari, ama" - Seneca

What about medical/life insurance? Or any purchase receipts issued for your both names?

By the way, my husband was able to add me as a co-owner to his bank account without SSN. Also, I managed to open a bank account with no SSN at Bank of America. They just needed two photo ID's instead.

Good luck for the interview!

September 2010 met in Germany

October 2010 started dating

September 2012 got married

26 December 2012 - Filed for AOS

11 March 2013 - AOS approved (DAY 72)

Yes show that you've added to his Med/Dental/Vision/Life insurance

Any annual passes to theme park, credit cards, boarding passes before and after marriage, any mail sharing the same address or addressed to both of you.

IO didn't want our bank statement but we gave her our voided check with both our names on it.

Original copies of Birth Certificate or Naturalization, Marriage certificate, Annulment or Divorce decree from previous marriage(s)

Good luck!

thank you everyone for the responses. my interview was done already today. the IO was really kind. She just asked for my parent's in law's notarized statement that we are living in their house currently, a statement from the church that we are attending right now that they knew us as a married couple and a current bank statement. :)
