I am going through my forms and I noticed that on my I-130 that I wrongly listed my own employment instead of my Wife on line #15.

I received NOA1 on Feb 4th or so.

Do I need to contact USCIS or will they realize the mistake and that my Wife is in Nigeria and couldn't possibly be working in the USA?

:innocent: :innocent: My husband placed the incorrect employment on the I-130. He placed his own instead of my employment. We just left it as is. :innocent: :innocent:

Anyway, it was approved. They did not ask for an RFE.

I'm still not sure who's employment should be there. For some reason it seems silly to have the beneficiary's

It is a general purpose form, so take that into consideration, if something doesn't seem to apply to your case. For instance, if a USC married a someone with a working visa in the U.S., then that might be relevant.

When you fill out that form, you ignore the right side when you are filling out the form as a petitioner, and ignore the left side of the form, when you are filling out the information for the beneficiary.

We also put hubby’s employment in question 15. All the other questions asking about me said “your relative” as part of what it was asking for.

Right or wrong, we got our NOA2.

I really think this is the way to answer it. As it doesn't say "your relative" like the other relative questions. I'm not sure how hubs answered it... I wasn't sitting there. LOL
