Contact www.rapidvisa.com they did my paperwork and my petition was aproved in 40days they are very nice and they know everything about the k 1 process and they are inexpensive only 325 dollars US. and they support you from start to finish.

This comment makes you sound like a shill.

I'm not accusing you of being a shill but if rapidvisa can get a k-1 through in 40 days and everyone else must wait 200+ days then this is ripe for an allegation via the FBI of Immigration fraud because how else could you guys get this pushed through in 40 days unless someone in the Vermont Center is being paid off?

Elsewhere you commented about getting your Senator and Congressman involved and you were asked to elaborate.

Please do so, or are you guys just making up numbers to create business for rapidvisa.com?

What are you talking about? a shill what the hell is that and no i am not trying to get business for rapidvisa i am just tell you what i used. jesus yes i contacted my senator but all he did was inquire on why the processing times were so long. you know what i have found here that there are a bunch of rude people and that just because i got approved in 40 days i paid someone off that is the most bullshit thing i have ever heard! there are others on vj that got approved in a short time so i guess the paid someone off too! I think i will keep my comments to myself from now own i wish everyone luck in their journey you will not hear about mine again. I don't call peple names and if something good happens to them i am happy for them so i would advise you to not be so quick to judge people.

then you need to contact your senator get him or her involved.

I've contacted everyone, Senators, Ombudsman & Congressman. So far only positive results have been my congressman. Should be hearing a decision this week.

You are correct, but for some reason the high fraud embassies have set the tone around here and everyone seems to think they need to send in a giant pile of #######, when in fact they need none of that unless specifically asked for it.

rofl.gif

I don't why but "giant pile of #######" really made me laugh. Maybe because I'm picturing my local office sorting through my own giant pile of ####### that I submitted with my I-130. Getting ready to submit giant pile of ####### number 2 to the NVC with my IV package. Indian consulates for some reason hate to look at evidence AT the interview. Tsk tsk. biggrin.giflaughing.gif

I am the petitioner.

The staple (primary) pieces of proof to include are:

Passport Stamps (from both of you is a plus, if you have both made trips to see the other)

Boarding Passes (same as above)

Letters of Intent to Marry (one from each of you, signed)

Photographs of the couple (signed and dated)

Other extra (secondary) information and evidence would be things like:

Itineraries of trips to see each other (useful to put along side passport stamps and boarding passes for the respective journey)

Chat Logs and E-Mails

Copies of hand written letters to each other

Hotel receipts/Itineraries of trips taken together

Receipts of any joint purchases

Any bank/money transfers between each other

why would pictures need to be signed?

I agree, there is no reason to send a huge "pile of #######" for the petition. When I filed for my husband I sent 5 pictures, and boarding passes for one trip, that was it. He was approved with no RFE, and at the interview they didn't ask for any additional evidence. To add he is from what visa journey members refer to as a " high fraud country". Best of luck!!!

I think many prefer the kitchen sink approach. It's just that we have differing sizes of kitchen sink.

Our submission was probably over the top as we'd had many visits in the previous two years so detailed all of them in terms of boarding passes and passport stamps. Bunged in a few photos too correlate and that was it. It's probably *all* our evidence as we don't skype and don't write as we use the phone and the odd email. In between the NOA1 and interview there will have been two more visits by USC to UK which will have to do for continuing relationship. But then we both originate from low fraud countries (we're both Brits).

Having said that of course the RFE's will be on their way :-)

why would pictures need to be signed?

Just for further information purposes. When we put our pictures in our K1 package, we noted who was in the picture and when/where it was taken. One particular picture was taken at a family gathering, we noted ourselves and just some other important people, namely my future parents-in-law. As a piece of evidence, it shows good integration and acceptance of the family.

With mine I sent in half a dozen photos of us, copy of my passport, and copies of some of our itineraries. I hadn't considered boarding passes but I can produce mine quickly as I have it in my email.

Hopefully that will be enough. It has, up to this point, processed fairly quickly. I mailed it on the 15th, (Friday) it was delivered on the 18th, and the NOA1 was sent out on the 20th. I made a call to the service line because I noticed a typographical error regarding her DOB on the NOA and while I was there checked the status, and someone touched it yesterday and gave her her Alien Registration Number. So far so good. Ideally the swiftness continues.
