The staple (primary) pieces of proof to include are:

Passport Stamps (from both of you is a plus, if you have both made trips to see the other)

Boarding Passes (same as above)

Letters of Intent to Marry (one from each of you, signed)

Photographs of the couple (signed and dated)

Other extra (secondary) information and evidence would be things like:

Itineraries of trips to see each other (useful to put along side passport stamps and boarding passes for the respective journey)

Chat Logs and E-Mails

Copies of hand written letters to each other

Hotel receipts/Itineraries of trips taken together

Receipts of any joint purchases

Any bank/money transfers between each other

Current Status: AOS - Processing

I hope you are mailing an I-129F, not an I-129.

If you are, and you read the instructions, you know that NO "online" evidence is needed and serves no purpose whatsoever for the petition. Only evidence that you have met in person at least once is needed.

We sent ONE photo and travel documentation for ONE visit. No RFEs

Yes, the F, and I have read what is required. However I was also advised to err on the side of caution and send whatever we have evidence wise as it may help to not slow things down if more evidence is desired. I think everyone's journey has been different so advice does vary.

Thanks again,

A.

Someone from Australia does not need to send this much evidence.

Am I missing the boat?

I-129F wants proof that the two has physically met--that's all.

These items will be necessary to prove that a bonafide relationship exists later in the process:

Chat Logs and E-Mails

Copies of hand written letters to each other

Any bank/money transfers between each other

But those items do not in any way prove the the two have physically met.

It seems to me that many misread what the form wants and pile on stuff to show that they're in love (a bonafide relationship), which at this point is not even being considered.

Or am I wrong?

You are correct, but for some reason the high fraud embassies have set the tone around here and everyone seems to think they need to send in a giant pile of #######, when in fact they need none of that unless specifically asked for it.

Itineraries aren't usually good enough, do you have the boarding passes?

For mine, I included the email airplane booking receipts and cross-linked them to the stamps in my passport(s). I only had two actual boarding passes that I kept, and that was for my last visit. I also included the obligatory photos of us together all over the world. Haven't received an RFE, but then they haven't had my packet very long.

Thank you Nola123, I now feel relieved.

So the giant pile of ####### should be kept in abeyance for the interview in Manila. That makes sense.

You can send it if you like, but you're from Australia, it's not required. You take the evidence of relationship to the visa interview.

Countries: Australia to US

This will be my last question before mailing the 129 and packet. Evidence. Here is what we have so far:

Online:

E-mails about visits, wedding plans, itenaries to visit, and general chat.

Facebook messages about the same as above, Facebook pics of us changing our status to engaged and lots of friends, family, and mutual friends congrats.

Physical:

Photos of us together in the US and Australia on vacation

Itenaries for her to visit me in America then my visit to her in Australia

Photos of me with her family

Considering we have made 2 visits for 2 weeks at a time and have only been together since Sept and engaged since Feb is this enough or should I try to find more?

Thanks,

A.

How in God's name can rapidvisa manage to get the K1 (NOA-2) approved in 40 days when it is taking everyone else over 200?

What goes here?

Just timed out that way. Rapidvisa has nothing to do with it.

I used rapidvisa as well. Didn't know about VJ at the time. They were probably not the reason you got approved in 40 days, because I'm well over 200 days.

NOA1 - 8/24/2012

NOA2 - 3/18/2013 Only took 207 days at CSC
