I-129F help

I am working on filling out the I-129F Petition. My fiancé has two last names (common in Latin America), and I am not sure if I should write both for the family name in part B number 1. He also has a first and middle name, but on his Costa Rican cédula he only uses his first name and both last names. I want to stay consistent on all the paperwork so I am curious what others have done in similar cases.

For the I-129F I only used the paternal last name, first and middle name. (In Mexico both last names are also used).

I'm not sure about the "cedula" (since I'm not sure what it is), but if his middle name is included in his birth certificate or any other important document like his passport, you should include his middle name.

Same for the G-325A.

Good luck!

Both last names are my husband's legal name. They are both on his birth certificate, IDs, passport, etc. We put both as his Family/Surname on all the forms, as the visa should match the name on his passport. We put double spaces between the names to be sure they knew it was 2 separate names. We have had no issues at all. USCIS sees names from Latin cultures all the time. You should also list his middle name.

I used both last names...

Thanks for the advice =) By the way, I see you are getting married very soon! Congratulations to you two! It must feel wonderful to finally be at that point after all the hard work! I hope my fiancé and I will be at that stage in less than a year!
