I sent my application to USCIS and I did not include my marriage certificate and I did not put my name on the list of children of the relative..Would this delay my approval and do I have to call in order to correct this or just wait for them to send me a letter for any missing documents?

Please help I can't help but to worry...

You can either call them to tell your concern. Im not sure how long they will reply to you if in case something is wrong via e-mail/letter.

You will probably get RFE for the missing document. The marriage certificate is required due to the legal name change. Why didn't you include your name in the list of children? The I-130 form is for petitioning a relative/spouse. USCIS are going to wonder why you weren't listed as the daughter when in fact your petitioning for your own parents.

An RFE will merely delay the process by weeks. Nothing to worry about.

Thank you for all your responses.. I was thinking and ask my hubby that on that line if I need to include my name on the list of relatives children and since I am the one petitioning them I don't need to put my name on there...and I''ve read in one of the questions on USCIS Q&A on that line, so I didn't ask somebody until I'ved seen some inputs here in Visa Journey...

Anyways I will just hope and pray that they will send me a letter for the missing documents.

tia,

Your only problem would be the certificate. I myself did not include my in the name list but hey approve it.
