I'm sure most people, like me, are watching the USCIS website alerts like hawks (top right hand corner of their home page), but just in case, this is the latest alert.

Here's hoping that with the recent workload shifts at VSC and CSC that visa processing times will be updated tomorrow.

In all likelihood they were updating server software, database software, or some software used internally to run the website. This was not likely to be an update which would add or change features as it was termed "maintenance".

Sounded pretty routine and can be safely ignored.

Another software engineer here. I concur. Content will be handled by some other unit (policy, community outreach, etc). Their maintenance is some back-end stuff that may or may not cause feature changes. Any feature change would most likely affect how the online case status, or the infopass stuff, work, but not actually update any of the data (unless the maintenance is addressing some flow in how that data is batched from the back-end).

The processing time bar graph is now accurate for the listed times!

Previously, the 5.5 month bar was longer than the 7.9 month bar!

Whoopty doo!

Heck NO! They may tell she cannot be a citizen because the "system" says her I-129f is still in the initial review stage!

I cannot believe anyone even checks that stuff. Would you watch the weather report if it is ALWAYS wrong?
