Hello All. Please help me what to do. I am a US citizen and I petitioned my mother from the Philippines. She will have her interview next month but very sad that she will be leaving my underage sister. When she comes her in a few months. Would she be able to petition my sister right away, if she can, what are the paper works and forms she will need to submit in order to get my sister? How long is the process? Thank you all!

Your mother would need to file an I-130 for her daughter under the F2A preference (child of a permanent resident).

The current wait time for someone from the Philippines is approximately 28 months.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
