Hello

My husband's case was transferred to CSC on Sept. 22, 06. (He has K-1 visa, we married in July and sent paperwork in to Chicago in August.)

EAD and Advance parole were obtained on Oct. 19 from Charlotte office.

This week when I checked on the online case status page, the last action on the case now has a date of Nov. 02. I guess this means it was "touched" ???

When you follow the link to check on CSC processing times, the category of 485 adjustment for family is not there, only the 485 for adjustment from employment. Anybody have any insight about this?

It would be sooooo nice to get the green card right now, so hubby can finally get a job. He is a commercial pilot, many airlines won't even accept his resume without the green card.

This gives you an idea of how long people have been waiting and the average times it takes to get GC, EAD or AP.

The CSC only lists employment based AOS for some unknown reason, so we just support and encourage each other, and one day, maybe when they have finished updating their fancy new website, they might be able to tell those of us wanting a family based AOS what waiting time we have.

Can't help you any more than that, I'm afraid.

You'll notice a great deal of disparity there. Being transferred to CSC has a reputation for getting people fast AOS approvals, and for some people, it does, but some people have been waiting a long time for their green cards, too!

Here's to hoping for a short stay!

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

According to the misinformation line (I called again today to check on my case), the projected processing time frame for transfers to CSC is "180 days from the date of the transfer".

But of course, you can see from the pending and approval list, most people are being approved A LOT faster.......

So hope for the best, you'll probably be one of the lucky ones and your husband will have his greencard in a few weeks :D

Is this list for K1's only? How did you get a list? Is there a way I can check the list for K3's?

We have been married 3 years...almost so will be getting an unconditional GC...I can't imagine they would give that without interview.

I hope so....but somehow I doubt it. :unsure:
