Well I just got done calling my Senators office for the 3rd day in a row. Intead of being put through voice mail I actually got to speak to his representative who handles immigration problems. She told me something very interesting. She said that just before we put in our application in March they changed the law not only for the IMBRA but also for extra security checks on all files. Including ones that were approved before March. And they are reviewing all those files also. So just because you were approved doesnt mean they arent looking at your file still. Perhaps this is why it is taking so long for those approved to get to the embassy. As far as my case goes she is waiting to hear from a supervisor there and will have some information by the end of the week. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed tight!!

This may be old news that you received as many members who had there files approved in the early part of the year had them recalled.

YMMV

So we can be approved before we are not approved.

Typical government double speak crapola.

I specifically voted against my incumbent representative as a measure of my displeasure of her lack of help.

More likely any delay from NVC to embassy has been due to the backlog at the NVC when IMBRA finally got resolved and they were bombarded with approvals.
