continue working while AOS is in process

Do you guys know whether it is still possible to continue working on an E1 visa while an AOS is filed based on marriage to a US citizen? This is for a friend of mine who is planning to get married in April, and having to stop working until her GC is processed (or until she receives her EAD) would be a royal P.I.T.A.

Yes, she can still work. Can't travel without AP, though.

Hi Harpa, I just spoke with my friend and she had a change of heart. They now want to get married here first, then go on their honeymoon overseas, then return to the US (her coming with her E visa), and then do AOS. It doesn't sound kosher to me, because she would basically have the immigrant intent at the time she enters the country. What do you think?
