So my question is, wasnt there supposed to be an exchange of information between the NVC and me? The ds-3032 as well as an AOS bill ($70USD). Have I totally misunderstood the process flow from the diagrams and such?

The way it looks to me is the NVC got it, said yeah fine and sent it on to Moscow, is that right??

I know this cabbage has been probably chewed a million times but can someone please set me straight!!

Paul

Good Afternoon,

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC has completed its processing of the visa petition you mentioned in your letter and has forwarded the petition to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General for further processing. Any further inquiries should be directed to the assigned US Embassy or Consulate General.

Well, it looks like NVC has processed your case and sent it over to the embassy. The embassy in turn will contact your finacee. I would suggest emailing the embassy in a week or so just to make sure that they got the package.

If i assume correctly you are applying for the K1 visa right?if thats correct then you dont get anything from the NVC cos your case is forwarded to the embassy, the AOS fee bill is sent for immigrant visa applicants only whose files are processed at the NVC before forwarding to the embassy.

I think you are thinking about CR-1, and/or K-3 visa types. Your profile shows K-1, fiance visa, you wont have and AOS bill until you marry in the states, and Adjust Status. NVC just receives the petition from USCIS dose some security checks then forwards the case to the appropriate consulate.

Look at the K-1 flow chart. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...amp;page=k1flow

I didn't even get that letter as a K1. You're fine.
