Ok so I don't know if we can get it as "good news" or doesn't matter... I was checking different case numbers on the ceac website and one was in Admin process since January 2013, updated multiple times, last time was June 14th, now checkin that case # again it says issued on June 18th. So things are moving... but mine still admin process lol

Contacted NVC, case back to USCIS at the beginning of the month, called USCIS, can't tell me much because I'm the beneficiary, so called my lawyer, he said it's not a good thing, and he was going to call USCIS immediately... :(

Hi NickUSMC,

I haven't heard from you in a while. Is there anything new with your case?

I found out for sure that my husband's case is still in AP in Naples and not in Washington DC, so I think that is a good sign???? but other than that I have not news and no real information. I had a lot of updates on my case through CEAC at the beginning of July but nothing since the 17th of July, so I dont know what is going on.

I hope all is well. I guess we will just keep waiting.

Hi Shuss

I have been in AP for almost 7 months now and can feel how painful this AP is, BTW how did you find out that your case in Naples and not Washington? I may try as well.

Hi Maziid,je,

I called DOS and asked them where my husband's case was being processed. And they asked what I meant and I clarified by asking is the case being processed in Naples or in Washington DC? The person looked it up and told me that the case is being processed at the embassy level in Naples, Italy.

I hope that helps

Hi NickUSMC,

I just got am email from my congressman's office telling me that my husband's case has completed background checks at the state department and now the case is fully in the hands of the consulate in Naples.

I am unsure what this means but they have assured me that this is a good sign.

I will keep you updated as I get more information.
