No what im saying is JAN 2012 is my priority Date ,,Case Completed FEB 6th 2013

now, if there are people whose case was completed in the same date as yours FEB 6 13, then you will be the first one to have the interview because your prioriy date is older. wllaho a3lam

Thats good to know! Now I'm hoping for a case complete and hopefully a faster interview since our pd is may 4th.

For those who expect an interview date at Casablanca:

I have done some digging regarding how long it's taking NVC to schedule interview appointment at US consulate in Casablance and it takes an average of 55 days.

Quick question, does NVC use the priority dates when scheduling interviews also? For example if 8 cases for IR/CR 1 are waiting for interview dates at the same time, do they give the person with the earliest priority date the earliest interview date available? Just curious

I don't think so. Near as I've been able to determining, from gisting 3 years of NVC monthly threads here,

is that the casefile is lobbed into the interview queue once it's ready (casefile complete, for example)

and that queue, the interview queue, is first in, first out (FIFO) on the scheduling at NVC.

Thx for the response but the thing is my PD is somewhere in JAN 2012 ,,does that mean im gonna wait untill JAN 2014 ?? if yes my petition is gonna Expire this JULY 2013 (FACT)

It's my understanding that an approved I-130 doesn't expire. Unlike an approved I-129F, which CAN expire.

Looks to me like the assign them by case complete at NVC date and I got real lucky to get an interview in April after only have case complete for 2 days!!!

Nope, they said I was not scheduled for April, But Hamdolilah, I need sometimes too to get some stuff together, so it worked just fine. Allah knows best. good luck and let us know how it goes!

iA and I feel terrible but maybe after the case complete they look at visa type and we fell into the IR1 category because we are married over 2.5 years now. What time did you last call cause I got the email at 5pm.

I see, may be that the case. I am really happy i am not scheduled for April interview because I am still working on my taxes and my wife just sent me her "carte d identite national" in the mail...so I think God always look out for us..Happy for you and your husband, All the best luck

So what ndu was trying to explain is....your case was completed Feb 6. but your priority date is over a year ago (january 2012). That means, when your embassy starts scheduling interviews, you will probably be one of the firsts as your priority date is sooo long ago. For instance, if you got case complete February 6 with a PD of January 2012, and I got case comeplete the same day you did, February 6, but my PD is June 2012, then your interview will be before mine. That is what we have come up with by watching peoples dates.

She was all upset because our journey took a little longer than she expected and the funny part is me asking about prioriy date and i just looked away from the computer and my wife had tears on her eyes and she was like ''''we should call my family and let them know''' im like ''let them know wut ??''' then she said next month yow #### is gonna be interviewed APRIL 2nd LOl'' Hahaha

I believe Hamigirl was the exception because it took her only 18 days between case complete and interview scheduled , but for you it took exactely 55 days between case complete date and interview date as I stated in my previous post.
