Does Petitioning for a Parent of a New USC Trump B2 Visa?

Noel194, thanks for the input. Not sure it's the same as he's married to a U.S. citizen, but I'm pretty sure he could lose it if they intend on remaining in Israel. I believe there are specific time limits where he shouldn't even leave the U.S. due to residency requirements, but I'm only a junior member here. If my MIL receives a Greencard she'll have to abide by the rules or also risk losing it. We originally only wanted her to visit but now we'll just go ahead and petition for her to live here now. Thanks again for the input. Would appreciate others out there that are going through/have gone through this.

Boiler, just a junior member here, but I don't believe all countries have such an agreement with the U.S. since its a country-by-country program, correct?

It is, so she is not from a VWP country?
