Going there now.

Most of the low rates from the air lines are posted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Now that it is Thursday the rates may be higher

Statravel.co.uk offers cheap flights for under 26s and students. Not sure if it works outside of the UK, but I managed to get a return flight from London Heathrow to SFO over the Christmas period for just £410. That was just being under 26, not a student.

Edit: Oh and both flights were on a saturday, I really have no idea how I managed that. They were only that price for the specific hour I looked too, I nearly bought them the day before, but I had to wait because I had no money in my account. I got lucky.

Anybody have any good info. on cheap tickets? Haiti?

King air flies from Haiti & Puerto Plata DR to Providenciales TCI, CHEAP.. From there, you can get to Miami via A/A or Charlotte, NC via US air. Flying to or from La Capital (Santo Domingo), you can't beat Jet Blue. They are the lowest fares available. Flying around the Caribbean one needs to be creative sometimes.. Check LIAT flying to and from St. Maartin, Tortola, or Antigua to Haiti or Santo Domingo. Very affordable.

Hope this helps..
