It's not the same! Where's the milky chocolate on the inside?

I should add, the toys in Canada just aren't the same as they used to be; they've now branded them with Hotwheels and Barbie, whereas before they were more gender neutral and in my eyes, more fun.

Kinder Eggs have different "Editions" and the toys are different... I prefer toys that you have to build and with some mechanical action.

I was able to find them in Boston at different "gourmet" or European grocery stores (last time here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/euromart-dorchester - they also have cheaper Eastern European eggs)

So my mom can't sent me kinder eggs in the mail? When she sends the case of KD?

That really sucks... I like the toys!!!

Awww you are right. I was hoping to get access to Kinder Eggs but these are just some kind of a ripoff. The real deal please!! It doesn't mean Kinder Eggs are legal - the headline is misleading. Sadness. By the way Boston-Montreal, I agree with you that the toys you have to put together are the most fun!

I've never heard of these before and have made numerous trips to Canada. Nothing about it looks good...... wouldn't you bite into the inner shell? On a side note, my wife keeps a constantly stocked glass container of Canadian Smarties in the fridge. Her former coworkers bought her 43 boxes before she left. Yum

No, the two halves come apart very easily and the inner plastic container is much smaller than the outer smaller egg.

If you shake it when it’s wrapped you can feel the container inside rattling.

They were one of my daughter’s favourite treats when she was little.

Seems pretty fun. I'm gonna try one next trip up north. Hope I get a cool toy. Last time I tried one of the Aero bars. Couldn't resist cus they're everywhere and they look awesome. I was happy with it....
