Hi VJers! I have a quick question. My case status says that my case has been transferred to another office today. We filed six months ago and our case has already been transferred from California to Missouri and then to NYC. So, why are they transferring it again? My husband still lives in New York. Was anyone else's case transferred after such a long time? Any idea what it means?

youd be best to call and ask instead of reading speculation

were you informed of the transfer to NY by status update?

if not... maybe its juat a really late update?

i think it's a late data update.

want exact dates of NYC transfer? Call into USCIS, get an ISO, ask specifically when the casefile was transferred to NYC and when it arrived at NYC.

Good Luck ! it's been hit or miss, to get data, with each phone call. It is possible, but sometimes the first ISO won't dig for it, whilst the 11th ISO will .

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Whoa Nelly ! Want NVC Info? see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Congratulations on your approval ! We All Applaud your accomplishment with Most Wonderful Kissies !
