There's nothing you can do but wait until they approve your case, and until then, it's very likely that it will continue saying "initial review". After you get your NOA2, the case will get sent to NVC (go here and read: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/EZGuideSpouse) and only after doing all those requirements at NVC will your case get put in line for an interview. You have to set up your own medical appointment somewhere after getting your interview scheduled, but before attending the interview itself. From NOA2, you still have a good 4 - 5 months before you get the actual visa, if everything goes smoothly. You still have a ways to go. Research the next steps (read the link I included) and get prepared. Apart from that, it's just a bunch of waiting, unfortunately.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

well, he can certainly call into USCIS and inquire with an ISO for where the casefile is.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
