Well I am two days away from being inducted into the 400 club which is absolutely rediculous. I have at this point done just about everything possible with no approval yet in sight. I did have an interview on February 6 with my local immigration office because they thought there was possible fruad which is not the case. The interviewer said she was going to approve the case and send it back to CSC for processing which could take up to 60 days. Yesterday I reluctantly called USCIS and the teir two rep lied out of her ars and told me under ten seconds that my file was still at the local office and hung up. We all know that they never look up info in the computer that fast. It is getting extremely difficult to maintain my cool having waited this long especially with being teased with approval from the interviewer. They need to just approve my file already this is getting absurd and the fact that they are treating a military member with over 12 years like this what has this country come to.

I am sorry to hear your story. Did you try contacting your senator's or congressperson's office? At the interview you were told it would take up to 60 days, it hasn't been 45 yet.

Yes i have already been through the congressman's office and ombudsman which were both useless. Yes it has not been 45 days but the fact of the matter is i should not be waiting this long in the first place.

I have a lawyer and she is waiting to see is the approval comes after 60 days because she said the mandamus action is a last resort.

Cool beans. I hope they resolve your case soon.

328 Days here. Hope I don't reach the 400 but would not be surprised at all if I do. Mine is just sitting idly somewhere I suppose. Still in "initial review". Congressmen, Senator, OMBUDSMAN.............all to no avail so far. Where is the justice?

I really am sorry for you. Knowing that you also served the nation and the government is treating us like this. There is no excuse for this kind of delay. I would understand if it was a CR-1 or so, but for K-1 they should at least give you a straight answer here and not give you the run around. I sincerely hope you hear something in the near future and it is good news.

I really don't think they have any idea when they just keep handing out ridiculous extra waiting times. So sorry to hear this - its totally crazy :(

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .
