I spoke to the clinic where the health examination made in Ciudad Juarez Mexico, and was told no vaccines requires the fiance visa, my question is why some people get shots there in the clinic, we recommend this?, As I can check that I have some vaccines? vaccinated is better there or in the U.S. to make the adjustment of status. Thanks for your input.

The problem is they usually just simply refuse to give any vaccinations for a K-1 applicant. They do the vaccinations for someone applying for a spousal visa, but for the K-1, since they are not required, they like to skip over them. They do not look at your vaccination records and will not transcribe them onto the DS-3025. They give no DS-3025 or a blank one, which is useless for AOS.

You can get any vaccinations you need that you can get there in MX for free or cheaper. Bring those records with you to the US and take them with you to a civil surgeon. You will need a civil surgeon to do the vaccination transcription for you onto an I-693 that you will need to include with your AOS paperwork. You can also get any missing vaccinations through the health department or your spouse's family doctor(if they put you on their health insurance plan) and take those records with you to a civil surgeon. You can also let the civil surgeon tell you which ones you need and get them done there. It is up to you. The civil surgeon will usually charge more for the vaccinations. You will not need a new medical done, but you might need to call around to many different civil surgeons to find one that will not insist on another needless medical and/or overcharge you. You can search VJ for more information about that.

Here is the chart from the CDC that shows what vaccinations by age will be required for AOS: http://www.cdc.gov/i...tions.html#tbl1

It is dated 2009, but the chart is still currently accurate.

You will need one in a series of MMR, Tdap(or TD), varicella(unless you already had the chickenpox), and a flu shot(if it is flu season Oct. - Mar.).
