Salam, I am in the same place as you, but we have been in AP since August 2012. It has been nearly 9 months that we are in AP. We had a fairly smooth and fast process up until our case got to Kabul. That is when everything slowed down. I began our process in November of 2011, and we got our NOA2 February of 2012. My fiance did not get his interview until August of 2012. This was after I had emailed them several times, and my senators office contacted them. I am not sure if that helped, but it seemed soon after that he received an email to come in for an interview. Now 8 months later I contacted my senators office again to ask for help. They contacted some ppl in D.C. and they said our case was still in Kabul (which I already knew that). All you can do is wait... Im sorry to say that, but we are at the mercy of the Kabul Embassy. I have accepted that now. What makes it hard is when family and friends are literally asking everyday when he will be here. I have my wedding dress hanging up in my room for the past year now..waiting. I knew it would be a long process, but not nearly two years. All I can say is take a deep breath and be patient. Thats all you can do, or you will drive yourself crazy. The last time I seen my fiance was March 2011. :( Stay strong. Allah Hafiz
