Hello!

I am currently waiting on a NOA-2 for a K-1 application. Our NOA-1 is October 5 at VSC - I'm hoping we will be approved soon!!! Therefore I'm trying to get prepared for the next steps after approval. I found this information on both the Department of State website and the Croatian Embassy website regarding required documentation prior to the interview -

•Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for 6 months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)

My fiance is a resident of Croatia but lived in the US for 6 years total (1 year of high school and 5 years of college) on a student visa. Does this mean he needs to get a police certificate from the US? If so, where should I obtain this/who do I contact?

Sorry if this topic has been covered/answered - there is so much fruitful information on here that it gets hard to keep track! :)

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

Phew. After posting this I did a search on here and found multiple posts about the same thing (oops) with the same reply. Thank you so much for replying. I'm so thankful this website exists - not only because of all the valuable information but because of the sense of community between all of us going through the same waiting game...!
