Hi all,

Almost 10 years ago, I petitioned for my married daughter and her family to come to the US and the application was approved shortly afterward. They are waiting for the interview, but recently her husband passed away. Do we need to report his death to USCIS? I haven't found any documents online regarding which form to fill out.

Also, besides his death certificate, what other documents would need to be presented at the interview?

Thank you

Did you already pay for the husband's IV fee? Anyway, you should report the derivative's death to NVC. Send them an email and attach a scanned copy of the death certificate.

Bring the original death certificate on the day of your daughter's embassy interview.
