Which means you could marry a man OR a woman.

i suppose they could marry whichever sex they are attracted to, and the so of the hermaphrodite could swing whichever way they felt like with their "wife" or "husband" (what would be the proper term?)

You'll probably see most bi people married to opposite sex partners because in most of the world same-sex marriage is not yet allowed. However, in places like Canada, or the UK where same sex marriage is allowed, it may become more commonplace.
