They contacted Vermont and gave us the same answer, just like the Congressman told us. "Our papers is under process." We have approved expedite processing since February 12, 2013, the answer is wait. I am quite frustrated now, really really sad. Ten months is approaching and not hearing anything from them makes me really mad.

By the way response my expedite even it is approved, always follow the words "shortly" and "soon."

I hope you get the picture when the process goes beyond the processing time. By the way, thanks for allowing me to share. :crying: :crying: :crying:

Well thanks although that's not what I was hoping to hear. That's the response I get through the congressman's office. "Being actively processed". Well it's been actively processed now for several months according to them. How long does it take to "process" once it is being "actively processed"? I think if there are any unusual circumstances they just let the petition sit and wait. Like a weeding out process. Well I guess I'll eventually move to the Philippines if they give me no alternative. Very upsetting and frustrating. Have a business here, pay taxes here, lived here since birth, but legitimate petitions from USC's get this type of treatment. By the way, thanks for allowing me to respond also.

240 days here.

Did everything I could think of. Congressman said Was going to get an rfe. So far no news after 2 weeks. I think emailing NPR ( national public radio ) if they get enough people maybe they would talk about it would trigger more reaction / pressure from USCIS. At least going to try.

Two weeks ago we presented our case to Ombudsman and said they will schedule visitation to VSC this week due to bulk complaints they are receiving (phone conversation).

This is exactly their response to us in email.

"Thank you for the recent request for assistance that you submitted to the Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman. Your submission is being reviewed to determine how our office may assist. If we are able to help, you will receive correspondence regarding the inquiry from our office within 45 business days. If our office is unable to assist, we will notify you promptly."

I hope we really know what is going around. In my observation, our petition cannot be in expedite process (fast process like others), they have their own system and timeline as they say. Even we have done all the follow-ups, service requests, asked help from congressman and Ombudsman for due process, they will still work according to their discretion and convenient time. If like us, we are not lucky in random approval they are doing. The only answer is to WAIT.
