Christmas Packages to the Philippines

Just a quick reminder for anyone sending Christmas presents to the Philippines. You might want to send your packages this week. If you don't they may not make it. Sheryl lives in the provinces so Fed-Ex and DHL and are not an option. I learned the hard way last year. She got her package about Jan. 15th when I sent it around Dec 1.

We've started using a sea shipping service to send Balikbayan boxes to Marlene's family. It is 100% reliable and door to door. The box is quite large and there is no weight limit (I think our last one weighed over 100 pounds). They even take a photo of the family receiving the box. They also guarantee that no fee will be asked of the recipient to have the box delivered. The boxes are delivered in 28-30 days. In Oklahoma City, the fee is a flat $100/box regardless of the weight.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Yeah, I know man. We just of course were hoping to be together this Christmas. Thanks Almaty. I just didn't realize Uling was the type to rub it in or throw it in your face. I guess I was wrong.

Dean…

I was not attempting to hurt anyone... rub it in... poke fun... mock... or anything. I was really just goofing off. Unfortunately, I was not conscience of how my joke would be interpreted. My deepest apologies if I offended anyone...

Uling

p..s. I think that it is low down and dead wrong to flaunt like that... I really apologize if it appeared that way…

I'm happy for you Uling. it's unfortunate your post was taken the wrong way. with IMBRA many have had to deal with frustrating delays. maybe you hit a nerve, but no harm was meant to anyone. myself, i didn't take it that way at all.
