NVC need email addresses?

Hi all, I called the NVC on 3-11 and was given the case number, IIN, and BIN for my wife's petition. I asked if I could give them the beneficiary's email address, but the operator said she could not make any changes to the application at this time. On 3-11, I sent in the OPTIN email and on 3-12, I sent in the DS-261 (it showed as available when I logged in). Do I need to call the NVC and give them the beneficiary's email address, or are the OPTIN email and DS-261 enough? Also, I have not received confirmation of the OPTIN email (other than an Auto Response that basically said your email has been received), should I expect one? I am currently just waiting on the AOS and IV bills to appear as invoiced.

I was also given case # and IIN #on 3/11 and I was also told the same thing about not being able to add email addresses. I finally got confirmation this morning that they've system finally updated with correct email addresses. I don't know how OPTIN and DS-261 works but the DS-3032 email that people from other country sends has to be after the email address has been given. You may want to ask this question in the thread below, this thread is about people who are going through NVC process this month.

04/16/2013 - Case Complete (they found our first marriage certificate during supervisor review??)
04/17/2013 - NVC received IV Checklist response
04/23/2013 - Case Complete email from NVC

05/13/2013 - Medical

06/03/2013 - Interview
