found this link online, not sure if applies to K1. Once NVC case is received at the embassy and packet 3 is mailed, could I use this link to schedule visa appointment?

Have you tried e-mailing your embassy if they accept them? You can let them know you mailed packet 3 and they may send you packet 4 via e-mail which will have the instructions on setting up your interview. That website does not look like the right one.

No you can't use that = the embassy schedules the interview - once your case is on the way to Kingston, start emailing them about packet three - once that is returned, start emailing them about the interview. Do not wait to receive a notice in the mail, try to get them to email it to you so that you are sure to received it.

In order for you to get interview scheduled, you need to e-mail them signed DS-230 part I. You will receive a confirmation e-mail of receipt. After three days call DOS for interview date.

Thank you. This helps clarify. There is so much informations, its difficult to decipher. I called NVC today to ask how to change the beneficiary address and I was told to email them once the NVC case number is available. The rep said if there is an email on file they will use it. The only email on the petition was mines. Does that mean they will email me packet 3?

As soon as I knew that NVC had forwarded my case to Kingston, I emailed them the signed DS 230. I received confirmation today that they had received it and I plan on hounding the DOS for an interview date starting tomorrow. You are a couple of weeks behind me so feel free to check out my timeline. Best of luck!
