What they are going to send u is the same thing i got..NOIR. This letter is going to tell you exactly why the consulate thought ur marriage is a sham. If u answered some questions differently then they will specify exactly what the questions were and what each of you answered. They will give you 30 days to respond back...basically u have to address each issue or discrepancy they found. They will ask for evidance....in my case they did not specify what they wanted. A friend of mine was asked for evidance before her interview...so each case is different...wait to see what the letter tells you to provide. After you send everything and uscis receives it they have 60 days to review what you sent. If they decide to approve it then they will send the case back to santo domingo for another interview. The interview will be with another officer and you can not be denied on the same grounds as the first time so they would have to find something new.

Im glad the ombusdum worked out : )

I just received this email from CSC NCSC Follow up email. after trying to find out why I haven't heard anything since my husbands I 130 was denied on June 27,2011 during our interview in the American Consult in the Dominican Republic.

I'm freaking out what does this mean? Are they closing my case or what and can I reapply for him???

On March 12, 2013, we mailed a notice intending to revoke your case (ITR). Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. Failure to submit the requested evidence(s) within the allotted time may result to revocation of your petition.

If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Do NOT send your response to ITR through this e-mailbox.

Actually what you have received is an NOIR (notice of intent to revoke). I got the same letter when we were deniied. You only have 30 days, so start gathering info now. Chances are you will be reaffirmed just as we were. Good luck. What puzzles me is ..Why they took over a year to contact you. We only waited 6 months to be are adjudicated again.

dwheels is awesome, and everything she said is true. good.gif Once you receive that letter respond with evidence within the 30 days and then they will decide if you get another interview. Best of luck, you have been waiting a very long time, hopefully the end is near!!

I think ya'll are missing the point that she has already received the letter. They said they sent her the letter in March. Now they are waiting for her response. Oh and the thing that helped me the most was my name change on DL, SS card, and credit cards and passport, also a letter explaining how ya'll met, make sure the letter is notarized. and affidavits from both you and your husband swearing to a bonafide marriage. Good luck!

IXSA's letter is dated 12 March, or the notice that a letter is coming (rather) was dated 12 March 2013.

So, give USPS some time, ah? Maybe it'll hit today or tomorrow, possibly Monday.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

The interview will be with another officer and you can not be denied on the same grounds as the first time so they would have to find something new.

If the reason for the denial was "not a bona fide relationship" that same reason can be specified for a second denial, it would be the underlying reasons as to why that conclusion was arrived at that would be different than first time.

  • 3 weeks later...

I’m getting ready to send in my answer to the notice to revoke, since there inconsistency’s with questions they asked us they wanted to see proof of emotional involvement prior to our interview and current.

I really didn’t keep records of that so I’m wondering if what I’m sending them will be allowed, my passport copies with 27 trips stamped in the last three years of me going to visit my husband and my current ticket for my trip next week, along with every screen shot of all the postings and pictures I have had on my face book posted since 4/2010 to current over 300 pages, plus copies every letter I’ve sent them in over the last three years, and two years of bank statement showing all my debit withdrawals and purchase during each visit in the Dominican republic…

Please copeyes of police report of us being robbed by gun point for my trip 11/2011 and I’m still going there!!

Oh and I’m notarizing the cover letter as all of it being my trues statement

I’m so worried that they still reject all this information, I just so scared still, Thank again for all the help from my fellow VJ members

Rememeber this is a one shot response. If you don't get it right they will deny you. Don't hold back on your response. Don't get overly emotional about it. Think of it like a court case. You have been accused of faking your marriage, lay out the evidence , esepcially covering the issues they had but don't forget all the other proof. At the front put a cover letter than highlights what you are sending and tells them where to go see a specific type of evidence. They do not RFE responses for NOID/NOIR

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I would also maybe consider writing a letter about your relationship from beginning to end, along with the progression. Include your feelings and how they developed, etc. I did this, along with my husband when they had intentions of denying him at the embassy level. They then interviewed me by phone and issued him his visa.

Just another thing to think about. Best of luck! :star:
