I-130 ACCEPTANCE

Hi All,

Just a quick question. Our I-130 was approved on the 5th of March and the acceptance letter was received from USCIS on the 12th of March 2013. I would like to know what happens next.

Next the case will be forwarded to the NVC for processing of the visa application. They will assign a case number and contact you by email.

6-8 months.

I'm in the same boat. Received NOA1 in Nov. 2012 and now waiting for NOA2

NVC is currently taking around a month to receive cases from USCIS, and from there on out it could take anywhere from two weeks to six months. It really depends on how quickly you do things. Go here and read up on the process/requirements:
