I think depending on how the couple look together, if everyone mistake him for your son there's

a red flag, I am 3 yrs older than my husband and for yrs it was a little thing to me , even-though

he looks older 6' 2'' and am 5' 1'. now a days ppl thinks my 2 first boys are my mate when out. (maybe

because they R much bigger) My best friend at 38 got pregnant had twins by boyfriend 25 yrs od, they

now married the twins are 11 yrs old , they just bought a home...sometimes it works , most times

its not that real.

Good Afernoon,

I am new to this forum and need some help.

Me and my husband are awaiting our interview date. What has me worried is that I am 14 years older than him age has never been an issue for us but we are worried they will single us out because of this. Any suggestions how to overcome this?

How old is your husband? If he is 30 and you are 44 is not as much of a problem but if he is 20 and you are much older it could be a red flag

Hello to you all, please I would like to ask if me and my husband age difference will be a red flag . I am 36 years old and he is 28 years. We have 8 years difference and this is not a problem for us as in reality, he looked older than me and also taller than me and have big stature and in real life , people may think he is in his thirties.

I am 21 years older than my husband and it wasn't an issue at all. I think maybe years ago it was more of a big deal than it is now. I do agree there is a double standard by the way some people think it's OK for a man, but when it;s a woman, not so much. But as far as immigration went, for us it wasn't a problem.

It wasn't a problem for me either.

Think so? Even today? I guess color me clueless. :bonk:

Regardless...good luck.

Shouldn't be the case, but I think it still exists, depending on the culture.
